Many people may think cancers don't have obvious symptoms in the early stage, but actually some symptoms appear on the skin before cancer attacks.
We should be aware of the following 3 abnormal skin conditions that are likely not skin diseases, but signs of cancer!
01
The Sudden Change of Moles

Normal moles have uniform color, with a distinct border separating the mole from its surrounding skin. They're oval or round and usually smaller than 1/4 inch in diameter.
If these moles suddenly become large, or the surface of moles has ulcerated and even discharged pus, it may be a sign of skin cancer like melanomas.
Here are characteristics of unusual moles that may indicate skin cancers:
A: Asymmetry
Moles with irregular shapes, such as two very different-looking halves.
B: Border
Moles with irregular, notched or scalloped borders--characteristics of melanomas.
C: Color
Moles that have uneven distribution of color.
D: Diameter
The diameter of mole is larger than 1/4 inch.
E: Evolution
The size, color and shape of moles changes over time, it may also evolve to new symptoms, such as itchiness or bleeding.

Recurrent Dermatomyositis

Skin change is the main symptom of dermatomyositis. A violet-colored or dusky red rash develops, most commonly on face, eyelids, knuckles, elbows, knees, chest and back. The rash can result in itchiness and pains, which is often the first sign of dermatomyositis.
According to medical research, the incidence of visceral tumors in people with dermatomyositis is about 20%-30%, and most patients have had symptoms of dermatomyositis 2-18 months before having cancer. Therefore, if dermatomyositis occurs recurrently, you must pay attention.
03
Spider Angiomas
Spider angiomas are a group of small, dilated blood vessels clustered close to the skin surface. This clustering may seem like a spider web: a red dot in the center with thin vessels branching out and forming a web-like shape.
The appearance of several spider angiomas is a common sign of liver disease. When the liver can't inactivate estrogen, a large amount of estrogen will accumulate together, which causes the expansion of the arterioles on the skin surface and then leads to the spider angiomas.

It is worth noting that although these skin diseases have a certain relationship with cancer, it doesn't mean you must have get cancer when you have these skin diseases.
If skin abnormality appears suddenly, please see a doctor immediately. At the same time, we should do more exercises and maintain a good diet and rest habits, so as to stay away from cancer.
